Yes... wear a tampon, and a pad just in case... you know, for backup :-) And drink water to help the cramps, avoid salty foods, and caffine... if nothing else helps, take an ibuprofen (don't make you drowsy). And if you're still conscious, make sure you know where the bathroom is.
tampons and midol.. good luck
ultra heavy flow pads or tampons.
Maybe you can try wearing tampons. I used to be afraid of leaking but now im confident without pads. I can wear white pants and everything.
Wear a super plus tampon and put a couple tampons in your purse and go to the bathroom halfway through the play and change it. Also, wear a pantyliner just in case you leak.
hahaha mmm wear pampers!!
pick a dress that is dark so just incase u do leak,u won't see the stain.
Tampon, a pantyliner, and some pain medicine **I prefer and recomend Pamprin =)** Have fun and good luck
Super-absorbancy tampon that you change halfway through the night, with a pad as back-up. That pad doesn't have to be too absorbant, though, as that might be apparent through a dress. Take a non-drowsy pain reliever about half an hour before you leave so that it will have kicked in by the time you have to interact with people. Stay away from salt, it will make you bloated.
But all in all, have fun. Don't let the joys of being a woman ruin the night for you! Lol.
I would suggest wearing tampons - but if you can't or don't know how, then just pad it up well and if it is heavy be sure to excuse yourself before and after the show, and on intermission for a bathroom break. If you want, take a pain reliever before you go. You don't have to eat, but, if you have to (Like if you are having dinner out.) order something small like an appetizer or a salad and don't feel like you have to finish it all if you aren't hungry. If you fear that your period will leak, bring a long shawl or sweater of some sort to cover it up. Theaters can be cold - people won't suspect a thing. Blood stains come out - I used to leak alot. If you can't wash the dress immediately or if it has to be sent to the cleaners, soak in cold water as soon as possible and apply stain stick. I know how you feel - my periods bother me alot and I try to plan big events around them so I don't have to worry about it. Good luck and I hope you have a great time!
