Is 140 degrees Fahrenheit too hot for a daily shower? What if you are trying to conceive? pregnant?
Question:
Answers:
140 degree water will put blisters all over your body! I would think 80 or 90 would be plenty hot, Lord, don't use 140 degree water for a shower....
shower temperature has nothing to do with conceiving!
140 degrees is WAY too hot... that's enough to burn! Normal *hot* water is about 120 degrees F, but dishwashers need about 140. Even 110 will probably feel too warm for comfort.
(I keep my hot tub about 102 - 104, which can be tingly at first.)
BTW, Pregnant women should not get into hot tubs, or let their body core temp rise above 102. I don't know about risks for conception, but it can definitely harm a developing fetus.
At only 130 degrees, a common water heater setting, skin can be scalded in seconds so yes 140 degrees is far too hot you will be scolded, maybe between 70 and 110 degrees are the best temperatures. It is an individual chose either they may like a hot or cold shower/bath. Yes too hot a shower/bath may harm chances of conceiving, after all a man is advised to keep cool, so I think it much be the same for both sexes. Bathing in too hot water is not good for you if you are pregnant or not so must be worse if you are.
