I'm taking Loestrin 24 Fe, but started it mid cycle what should I do?

I've started my monthly cycle -should I take the sugar / iron pills now or continue down with the normal pills? I know you are supposed to start these at the end of your menstral cycle, but because of circumstances I started it mid way.

OK Ttake your normal pills not the sugar pill. try to see if you can stop and start again when you get your period again. it happened to me and i had to stop because it caused alot of confusion and body changes. so i stopped and when i got my period again that same day of my first day of my cycle i starteda whole new pack and no problems ever since.

Breakthrough bleeding is not uncommon. I would suggest you continue taking the pill pack as you normally do and if this happens again next month talk to your doctor.
