What are oestrogen & progesteron essential for?

Answers:
Oestrogen- stimulate repairs of the uterus wall and thickening lining

Progesterone- maintains the uterus lining until end of the menstrual cycle

they both work together to control ovulation
oestrogen stops FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) being produced, which makes the egg mature and it starts LH (Lutenising Hormone), which releases the egg. not sure about progesteron
