Most women have a hymen (cherry), and that will cause most of the pain. Imagine sticking a hard, large object into a really tight space where nothing has been before. It will hurt. I said most women have a hymen, but there are other ways for it to break, other than sexual contact.
it's because theres a little bit of skin covering the inside of the vagina that tears when you have sex the first time so some girls bleed a little. this can be broken by playing sports, horseriding or any streuous exercise though before you have sex but this doesnt mean your not a virgin.

It really depends on the size of the manhood that you're dealing with. Just be sure to go very slow and to stop and say 'pull out' if you feel a sharp pain or a tearing feeling. Mild discomfort is normal and it just takes experience before that discomfort starts to fade.
