Question:
I have major PMS and my breasts are SO swollen and just killing me. How can I help to take the pain away? This does not always happen to me.

Answers:
Caffeine, chocolate and smoking can make breasts more tender..
Pop your hood
ice packs, and no caffeine, caffeine will make your breasts tender too, that is why they tell you not to have any for a few days before you have a mammogram done
You say that this does not always happen to you. Does this mean it is the first time? Why not see a DR.
Eat more soy whole product. Tofu, edamame, soy milk are good for you. There is some enzyme that keeps womens hormones in check. Asian woen do not have PMS and mnopausal symptoms like most western women because we incorporate more soy in our diet.
Midol probably. It addresses the issue of breast tenderness, Pamprin doesn't. My wife gets a bad one like that once in a while, and this stuff gets her feeling better quick.
As goofy as this is going to sound, put on a good fitting bra, and tighten down the straps. A sports bra that offers really firm support is also good. Then apply ice packs or anything frozen cold. Wear that bra full time, even to sleep in, until the hormonal swing passes. This is what we do with new moms who suffer engorgement. In your case, you can also take your favorite pain reliever, ibuprofen or naproxsyn sodium- sold either as Motrin, Aleve, or Naprosyn- or generic equivalents will help some with the inflammation. Fortunately is should pass in a couple days at most.
