I would like to know if anyone has had experience with mirena and it's side effects.?

I have had the Mirena for almost a month now. Insertion was extremely painful. During the first week (especially the first 3 days) I had cramping, spotting, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and headache. My first period was lighter but lasted longer (6 days rather than 3). Since that first week all of the side effects disappeared but now I am dealing with acne and my breasts are very tender.
Every woman will react different to the Mirena however and you should take that into account. One of my best friends got the Mirena the month before me and she has not had any side effects at all except for some spotting the first two days after insertion. Even with the side effects that I experienced I am happy with my decision and am hopeful the remaining side effects will go away within the first 3 months.
