Answers:
it increases your chances of blood clots
Read the label.
If you have true acne, you have to take something orally prescribed by a doctor to get clear it up. Smoking is a real concern especially over the age of 35 while taking birth control. Ask your doctor about maybe taking an aspirin a day to help prevent clots.
Very very rarely, women who use hormonal birth control can get dangerous blood clots or experience a stroke. Smoking increases your risk. If you're young and have normal blood pressure, the risk is so low that the benefits of hormonal birth control outweigh the risks, even if you smoke.
Contraceptive were known to cause cancer. and cigarettes were known to cause cancer. Indulging in both of them proved to be a lethal combination for several of my mighty-mighty good girl friend. I miss them every day. Don't let it happen to you, its not fair to your family and friends.
