YES
You still have your periods
When sterilised your tubes are tied.
Your ovaries .uterus, and vagina are not affected
You produce your egg but it cannot now pass down the tied tube to meet the sperm.you therefore do not get pregnant.
Your ovaries not only produce your egg-but they also produce hormones(chemical messengers) to build up the lining of the uterus for the baby.As you do not get pregnant you have your period.
If your ovaries were removed or if your womb(uterus) was removed you would not have a period
Yes you do still get them. Its the lining of the uterus shedding itself...has nothing to do with the egg.
Hysterectomy stops period cycles.
no for sure i am still young to have period
Yup you still have your peroid ,,,
My mum has and does, too. I think it stops the egg from reaching the uterus, but it doesn't stop the lining from building up in preparation for the egg, and then breaking down again, which is what your period is.
No, it doesn't stop the periods because the uterus still builds the blood "padding" for the egg. The bleeding occurs when the egg doesn't drop down. It is the body getting rid of the un-necessary padding. She will have her periods until she goes through menopause.
yes you will still get a period.if your looking for a way out of it. Try an IUS (like an IUD, but w/ hormones) I have the Mirena...haven't had on in over a year!
Tubal ligation has no effect on menstruation or ovulation. The ovaries still release an egg every month just as they did before the surgery. However, since the fallopian tubes have been cut or blocked, the egg cannot travel down them to be fertilized by sperm.
you are either too young to be asking this question or you really flunked health class...having your tubes cut and tied has nothing to do with having your period, it has to do with ovulation, after your tubes are cut and tied an egg cannot get to the uterus, but your uterus can still shed its lining, aka, have your period once a month
A tubal ligation stops the egg from reaching the uterus, so it can't be fertilized. The uterus still prepares a lining each cycle, which it sheds when there is no pregnancy. So yes, you still have your periods.

And I don't think there's any such thing as too young to ask a question like this. You want to know something, ask.
Yes because you still just shed your endometrial lining.
tying the tubes only prevent pregnancy cause they prevent the egg from reaching the womb.
however, the period which is ur womb lining expecting pregnancy every month is still working so shedding it in periods is continuous cause there is no pregnancy, the only thing that prevent periods is removing the womb( uterus ) surgically>>hysterectomy
