please only serious answers!! thank you!!!
Answer:
Everyone is right...it's too dry. The tampon is sticking with what little moisture it has absorbed to the vaginal wall. When you pull it out, you're pulling the skin...and it hurts!
Just be sure your period is heavy enough to warrant a tampon...it may not be; it may just need a panty liner, especially at the beginning and end.
BTW, you're probably not too small for regular sized tampons; most of them are typically all no bigger around than your index finger (or thumb if you have really slender hands). Its all got to do with absorbency, not diameter.
Question something like YAZ birthcontrol?
There are a few things, and I apologize if this sounds gross.
1) is your flow heavy enough for a tampon? If things are, well, dry, it is going to hurt/be uncomfortable.
2) if it feels like something is burning, you may have a bacterial vaginosis, or a yeast infection. The only time I have ever felt a tampon in (when I have used a brand that fits me comfortably) was when I had a yeast infection. Both of these infections can just happen, by no fault of your own, and are very common.
As embarassing as it may feel, I would call your doctor and get checked out. You doc. has dealt with this sort of thing many MANY times, and can get you all better in a few days.
Good luck
wait until the tampon is fully saturated to pull it out...it is because it is dry that it hurts coming out....i know this might sound gross but i have heard that if you pee on it while you are pulling it out then it wont hurt it it is dry...its worth a try.
Help i construe i am addicted?
when that happens to me, it's only because the tampon is too dry...meaning, it hasn't been in use long enough...it's not full enough. You don't have enough moisture to let it slide out easily.
