Waxing upper lip?

Question:
I am thinking of getting my upper lip hair waxed as i am starting to get really paranoid about it :o( I am worried about getting it waxed for two reasons...1. i have heard it can come back thicker. 2. I am worried when it starts to grow back it will look like stubble and 3. I am worried when I get it done my lip will be red for ages and everyone will know what i have had done. if you can confirm my fears or otherwise please let me know! thanks :o)

I get mine waxed all the time. The hair does NOT grow back thicker; if anything, it grows back thinner. The waxing lasts about 8 weeks on average. And it will only grow back with a stubble if you shave it; waxing removes hair from the root, so new hair will grow back and it wont be stubbly. lol
Hope I could help!
waxing takes out the entire root of the hair, so it's not coming back thicker and stubble. and if you're scared that it'll be red, ask the person to use a sensitive formula of the wax. i've had it done before. it comes back the same and there's no red. but if it's your first time, you should do it during a weekend
I have to get mine waxed. It does hurt and I get it done about every 6 weeks or when it's long enough to do it again. I hate it but I am NOT going to have a mustache!
waxing actually thins out the hair... the red mark lasts about 2 hours and isn't noticable if you throw a bit of foundation on it... it won't look like stubble .. when you wax it grows back at different rates so (unlike shaving) you won't have stubble...
always wax... i've been doing it for years and it's great.. never put it off because of fears ... good luck
It will not grow back thicker, it will not look like stubble, it will be red for a couple of hours, this is for my own experience. Good Luck.
I am a Cosmetologist for many years, i have done many waxings, mostly eyebrows and facial hair, many times waxing alone does not remove every hair, so a repeated process is needed, which can leave a puffy soarness, when this happens with eyebrows, i tweeze the tiny remaining hairs, I myself have personally hated the whole waxing process for myself, to be honest I use a store depilitory myself! like Nair with a new baby scent, I find it non irritating, works everytime, and is not painful, and no thick bristle growback! your fears will end, no one will see any after effect of your hair removel, just a smoothe beautiful upper lip! doing so will remove that unwanted hair and also those fears! GOOD LUCK!!
I have lip hairs. (well everyone does) But mine are noticable because I have dark hair. I don't even worry about it. If someones that close (besides your bf) to see it, then they are too close.

I deffinately would N0T get the waxing done.

Just use a little coverup, that should lighten your hairs. Good luckk :)
