Is it possible to have full flow menstral bleeding for a couple days and yet be pregnant?!?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, this happened to a friend of mine, I'm not sure why.
Implantation (when the embryo attaches itself to the lining of the womb) can sometimes cause spotting. Eight per cent of pregnant women have a brief episode of light bleeding on or before the 40th day of pregnancy, counting from the first day of your last period. www.babycenter.in
Yes, my dad's first wife had a normal period every month during all 3 of her pregnancies. I also had a couple periods during my last pregnancy. Mine, however, were lighter than my normal periods.
Yes it is possible that this can happen. If for instance you have an egg released from each ovary.then you will have two eggs released for the month and if you had sex and one of the egg is fertilised and the other isn't then yes you can have a full flow menstration which is very risky because you lose alot of blood that is needed to support the embryo and also the lining of the womb which has to be there for the implantation of the egg in the womb, menstration can reaslt in death of the embryo.
This also happened to a friend of mine who had a healthy baby girl. The bleeding was only in the beginning of her pregnancy and the hospital staff said this can occur in some women. My friend had a theory about this bleeding. She thought that she may have actually been pregnant with twins and miscarried one. Her bleeding was significant and included tissue clots, so we were all very puzzled but thankful that her daughter was well when she was born. Be sure to see a doctor, don't take anyone's advice unless it is from a medical professional when it comes to your health and the health of your child. Good luck.
