I had been taking Prometrium for a couple of days. The first two days it didn't have any effect on me so I didn't think that there was a problem but the third day it made me kind of forgetful but nothing major. The fourth day it made me extremely tired especially after coming home from work. Can someone please tell me if they had the same exact side effects on them that weren't that major until the 4 or 5 day. Right now i'm in a lot of trouble i caused an accident and they are saying that it was my fault and that I knew that they made me tired. I just need for someone to agree that those side effects really didn't effect someone until after the first 4 or 5 days. Do you think my doctor could back me up with a written consent, b/c i really didn't think they made me tired until up to that day!

Everyone reacts to drugs differently. You need to talk to the Doctor and see what she says. I have not heard of that problem happening, but that doesnt mean it didnt happen to you. Go online and look it up...and call the Dr. They know stuff !!
In the study I looked at, 8% of the people taking 400mg Prometrium reported tiredness, while 4% of those taking the placebo reported tiredness. No one taking 200mg Prometrium reported tiredness. I've been taking 100mg Prometrium for 7 years and have never thought it caused me to feel tired.
Consult ur doc immediately.
