Ever since i have been taking prozac, an anti-depressant. i cant get wet during sex. help?
ive been taking prozac for my depression for 2 weeks and i did some research and found that prozac can cause u to not have good sex. im afraid im one of the unlucky people who get this side effect. usually the sex is good and im wet w/o lubricants, i orgasim before my bf a lot.
now i barely get wet no matter how turned on i am. sex isnt good, and ive only orgasimed once since taking prozac and it wasnt even a very pleasurable orgasim. i dont want to have to use lubricants all the time and i know that during sex id probably have to re-apply the lube more than once and i dont want that to interrupt us. is there ANYTHING else i can do to get a normal wet vagina again!! take a pill? what kind!?! this is so annoying. you have no idea. if i find something (even lubes) that can keep me wet and if i STILL dont have good sex im gonna stop taking prozac. id rather be depressed than take that stupid crap ruining my sex life. sex is important to me! any good lubes? go ahead and tell me.

You might want to tell your doctor this (don't be embarassed!) and change meds. There are dozens of different anti-depressents that could be right for you without this side effect. KY Warming lube might help too. This probably isn't the case, but depression and stress in general can hinder the quality of orgasm and your body's ability to respond to pleasure, but you said you didn't have this problem before taking the meds, so it probably is just a chemical thing.
Astroglide is good. If you end up needing to reapply, consider getting the kind that has an applicator (like yeast inf. cream) that shoots a glob of it up into you. Then you'll have plenty.
Don't stop taking prozac cold turkey, though. That can give you bad side effects. Talk to your doctor. He can tell you what to do.

Since getting pregnant, I can't get wet at all either. We've been using the gel ky. I've never had to stop to reapply.
call doc and get different med,like paxil or elavil
