Brown Periods Normal?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, it is normal for some of the blood to be brown at the start of the period (and it can come at the end of a period for some women as well). The brown colored blood is just an indicator of old blood. New blood is a brighter red color.

It's dry blood and it's totally normal. Don't be worry :)
The blood contains iron, as you know. When it leaves the body, the cells die, the iron "rusts", and that is why it turns brown.
Quite normal
Have you just started menstating? It is common in the beginning for it to be slightly brown and as you get older, it will turn more red. It's just your body's way of adjusting to this new aspect of womanhood in my opinion! However if you are that concerned about it, call your doctor and definitely have a talk about it with your mom or another female figure that you trust! Good Luck! Kat
