Bleeding after loosing your virginity?

Looks like most answerers got close to all the info, but just to clarify:
Tampons will NOT "pop your cherry", i.e. break the hymen (a thin membrane that really doesn't serve a lot of purpose).
Sometimes, even the first sexual experience won't break it. Pardon the description, but "smaller" men may not.
What will happen, usually, is you'll have a little spottish, but red, bleeding. It doesn't last like a period. Sometimes you'll experience it the first few times, sometimes just the first.
It doesn't hurt. You won't even know until you see a little blood. Just jump in the shower.
That said, please keep your virginity. You only have it once.
Each woman is different. Some bleed a little, some not at all. You may or may not but if the bleeding is heavy and lasts more than 2 days you might want to check with a doctor.
*lol* If you bleed afterwards, you did it wrong. Losing your virginity shouldn't cause any bleeding, but most people don't know what they are doing the first time.
Take it easy, use a lubricated condom. and you'll be fine.
Yes if he pops your cherry or in technical terms your hymen. It is possible to break your hemen by using a tampon. However most will during their first time. It will bleed when he removes his penis from inside you. It is sort of like a rush of blood and then it totally stops. Nothing to be ashamed about, it is normal.
i would say u might because it 'pops your cherry' so to speak but if you use tampons they aren't the same as a male sex organ.
You're not supposed to bleed a lot because the hymen is very small, about the tampons I don't know.
If you haven't had your hymen broken before(doubt using tampons would do that) it is possible to bleed a lot. But not enough to go to the doctor. It is normal and every time you have intercourse the less it will happen until it doesn't happen at all. Oh, you start bleeding right away when the intercourse is happening.
Yes...when you loose your virginity you bleed, but not very much and also not every virgin bleeds...it depends on the person's age or health condition.
I think while you are loosing your viginity (which means during sex) you bleed.not very much.
some bleed some dont
i didnt bleed my first tym but the second time i did which is strange lol but it was only a little
A friend of mine had the same problem, and according to her the tampons really did prove helpful. She also said that she started bleeding even during the intercourse but it got more painfull and bled worst the day after and this was when she started using the tampons.
