Bloodwork is needed before Clomid is prescribed. Clomid is to boost a woman's ovulation. If you aren't ovulating and you are trying to conceive, then a gyn would probably prescribe Clomid.
if your not ovulating and your trying to concieve then the doctor may prescribe some for you
You can't just request Clomid. The doctor must do an exam and order blood work before any sort of prescription medication that would effect your hormones will be prescribed.
