i went to the bathroom right when i woke up this morning and my underwear had this thick,clear, gooey stuff smeared on my it. does anyone know what that is?

My friend desires to jump to the form department, but she doesnt want her parents to know give or take a few it.?

Around the time you ovulate (about 2 weeks before your period starts) you will get what's called "egg white cervical mucous" because it has the consistency of egg whites (seriously, I'm not making it up - that's what the doctors call it!). It's totally normal. This is your most fertile time of the month, and that mucous is one of the things meant to help the sperm find their way to their destination.

If it smells funny, burns, or is itchy, that's a different story and you should see the doctor because it may be a sign of an infection.
