And the answer to your question is yes, but it is very unlikely. Sperm can survive in a woman's body for up to 5 days, so there is a small chance. Ovulation, when the egg is released and is looking to meet up with a sperm, occurs 2 weeks before the period. The five days before that, and the 3 days after are when an egg can be fertilized. Every woman's cycle is different, (they can be shorter than a month, or often times, much longer) so it's impossible to determine the precise dates.
The chance is very small though, like the chance of a condom failing (3%).
