Girls help me?

Question:
I have to ask a question to ask you girls. When you girls started pruberty did you tel your mom or dad

Answers:
I wouldn't tell your dad..its more awkward than telling your mom...but deffinately tell your mom...otherwise she will find out.I didn't tell her.and she found out by the "Signs" on my clothing...so its just best to tell her...if you have other siblings(Girls of course)...do something funny like..."Hey mom, there are now "Insert number here" Women in the house..." or like..."Aren't you happy?? Now you get to waste more money on pads" Just do something like that...its easire...but yes you should DEFFINATELY tell her...its nice to have a girl to talk to K??!
hmm. i didn't tell my mom but my mom new cause like i started growing breasts and all. and she prolly told me dad. if you've started puberty and your parents don't know, go tell them. your mom will prolly be all excited. lol>.<hope that helps!
I told my Mom, she was very sweet and explained to me that I was growing up.
i didnt.i kept it to myself and still do and i hit puberty around 12 and started my period @ 13 and was having my friends buy pads for me for a couple yrs, tell i said anything to my mom.i was to shy or embarrassed to tell my mom
You should go into a Yahoo chat room and detail it to 45 yr old balding fat men.

Get off the damn internet and go talk with your mother!!
ok well this is wat happend, i was in kohls, so when i got it i called in told my mom, then like 2 days later she told my dad.

i am 13 and just got it 2 months ago...so yea.

i would both cuz they both are going to find out sooner or later...

hope i helped, good luck!
mom's gotta know..because they are the ones buying the feminine hygiene stuff for you.
no she could tell
My mom talked to me about it before and then when it happened I just kinda told her and she went through the whole explanation again!! I didnt tell my dad since I thought it was too much of a girly subject to go with my dad!!
My mom took me out to lunch to celebrate! It's nothing to be ashamed of, and it's and entry into womanhood! You should be feeling good about it. And you should communicate with your mom as best you can. Good luck!
Parents just kinda know. They went through it and they know what you're going through. Remember that puberty starts before you get your period. If you're referring to your period then please remember you've been going through puberty for a while now. It is up to you if you want to tell them or not but they will notice when you go through it and you might not want them to know now but you might want some support later on. It's an awkard time, I know. And yes, I told my parents.
Well if you mean just starting puberty, like breasts and hair and such. No I didn't tell my mom she kind of realized the breasts growing. But if you mean your period. Then yes, I did tell my mom but not my dad. But my mom is annoying and told my dad. I told my mom through an email at 11 years old. I'm now fourteen. But defiantly tell your mom if your talking about your first period!
my mom asked me lol! i just started a year ago at 13 and i said yes. then that nite wen i was in bed i heard my mom tell my dad!
Well, starting puberty is normally pretty obvious to your mom or dad. My parents told me. If you mean to start your period, ya.
If you're starting puberty usually your mom or dad can tell just by looking at you lol... I personally didn't tell my mom but she figured it out anyways
my dad told me lmao! about it when i was nine
