Why haven't I gotten my period?
Question:
I know that when you first get your period it's irregular but does that really mean 2 months of not getting it? I keep getting cramps and stuff monthly like i'm about to get it but i dont...
Answers:
It can be irregular for many months. You are petite and young. I wouldn't worry if you were my child. You should talk to your Mom though. Usually what doctors do is either just wait it out or use hormones to help regulate it. My choice would be to wait it out.
It's normal. Sometimes you won't even have a period for a whole year!
When i got my first one, i didn't have my next one until about two years later! So yes, you're fine.
And no, you're weights fine. You'll start gaining a bit more, due to puberty.
No worries, take care!

It's completely normal, it's possible that some girls might get their period and not get it again for up to 6 months to a year! They're just very irregular and spontaneous when you're young because your body is getting used to and accepting all of it's new changes involved with puberty (=
Agreed. My gynocologist stated that as long as your period comes 3 or 4 times a month, this is considered healthy. At the same time, your period can become irregular because of stress, weight gain/loss, etc. Talk to a doctor if it doesn't come again for another month or so.
It is quite common. See a Doc if u like.
