How to predict ovulation?
Question:
Answers:
Here is what you do...from the first day of your period count to the 14th day, if you are trying to get pregnant have sex on the 14th day and the 16th day and that will increase your chances, since it is never really accurate when you will ovulate unless you use a thermometer. Remember, if you have sex every day that will actually DECREASE your chances of getting pregnant, you should always skip a day or two.
Also...as a side note...a few days after I ovulate I also get a mucus discharge...for me...(but not sure for you)...it is an indication that my egg was NOT fertilized. It all depends on the consistency of your mucus, but you will definitely get a mucus discharge after you ovulate.
Don't listen to the midwife who said to have sex on 15, 16, and 17th day...she is WRONG.
look here where it says "take control" (this is one of many websites that tell you not to have sex daily because the sperm need time to regenerate)

It's definitely possible to get pregnant any time throughout your cycle, even when you're on your period. Your ovulation is right in the middle of your cycle, so yes, after 15 days your last period started. Usually, you can tell you're ovulating when you have the most discharge.
you usually ovulate for a few days before during and after your period. You can buy ovulation kits to pin point exactly when from any grocery or drug store.
then your most fertle days would be the 13th-17th days after your period. But, you can buy an ovulation kit that will be fairly accurate.
The Luteal phase is always 14 days. To predict when ovulation for you will occur subtract 14 from your longest cycle say 30 days and 14 from your shortest cycle if you have any that are less than 30. That is your ovulation window. You robably ovulate on day 16, the egg lives for 24 hours, so you want to have sex on day 15,16,17. Also the more fertile you are the thicker your mucous will become, you have to look at it when you wipe. Also if you can out one finger in the vagina while sitting on the toilet, your cervix will swing in line with the vagina and open up a little to help sperm get in. Hope this helps.
