Hi girls..pretty ironic i was asking just the other day what pcos was and then a few days after i was...?

Question:
diagnosed with it myself! dont really know all the details of it as havent spoke to my doc yet sinse the scan, woul apreciate any info you could tell me preferably from personal experience also last night i was coughing up blood is this normal or could this be where i have sneezed and burst a blood vessil??

Answers:
Would wait until you have spoken to your doctor about the scan... you can't diagnose PCOS from an ultrasound scan alone. From personal experience, have the weight issues, no periods and and facial hair.

As for coughing up blood, was it a one off event or has it continued? If it was a one off could possibly have been a small blood vessel that leaked due to stress. If it has continued would speak to the doctor.
Many of us have it. Mine hasn't effected my fertility or weight but I have always suffered greatly with my skin and probably always will (I'm aged 40). Hoping that my menopause will bring relief to my symptoms. Coughing up blood is NOT related as far as I am aware, better get to the docs about that none. Good luck with both. xx
