I just stopped taking the pill, and my period has been a lot longer than usual. It's been about nine days, and it's still acting like it's the first couple of days of my period. Can anyone tell me if your period gets longer after you stop taking the pill, or if this is something else?

for the 1st 3 mths after stopping the pill or any other form of birth control you can have heavy irregular bleeding. it is normal... your body is used to getting the extra hormones and now it isnt...
