Must you go for them to prescribe you meds but there is over the counter stuff too. To help with the symptoms..If you can ..i do know that eating yogurt alot helps prevent getting this yeast infection..Good luck
No that will not clear it up. You cannot self diagnose a yeast infection. You need to go see your doctor so they can properly diagnose the infection as many infections have similar symptoms. You do not have to see a GYN doc as your regular doc can handle this for you. Are you sure you don't just have normal discharge from puberty? Before you even think of using anything go see a doctor. There is nothing to be afraid of doctors as they went to school to help people just like you. If you have a doctor who makes you afraid of docs then please change to a doc you like.
Aloe vera gel , apple cider vinegar or vitamin E oil can be effectively used on the affected skin. More cheap and natural remedies for itching at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/itching.html...
You should only treat a yeast infection if you are sure that is what you have. Have you been diagnosed with one before, otherwise you need to see a doc or clinic. If you are familiar with yeast infections, you need monistat, an antifungal cream. Use it according to the directions. Also, if you have had this for six months, I recommend that you see a physician, anyway to prevent complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease.
that's two long for a yeast infection, if you don't get your period then AM guessing your very young, so you have to speak wit mom or a close adult to you, explain he situation and then go to visit your primary doctor then he'll try and help if not referred you to a gyn doctor they are very kool and help full
How do you know that it's not a bacterial infection?
If it is a yeast infection, you should be able to clear it up by using the otc meds as directed. If it doesn't clear up, you need to see a doctor. It doesn't need to be a gynocologist, it can be any doctor.
If you don't end up needing a doctor this time, you may still need one some day down the road. Better to find one you like now just in case you need them later on.
