Please help?

my period is starting in about 2-3 days, and i am considering using tampons this time. i was wondering if my hymen was already broken:when i was four, i slipped, fell and sprained my tail bone. shortly after i fell, i stared bleeding...i wonder if this was a result of my hymen tearing?

There is no way to know if you hymen is broken without having a doc examine you, That has no bearing on using tampons anyway. They hymen is merely a thin stretchy piece of tissue with a hole in the center for the blood to pass through and to let a tampon in.
