My period...?
Question:
1. Is there anything that can make your period come faster?
2. Is there anything that can help me while I am sleeping since I tend to leak? Any tips?
Answers:
1) see your doctor about birht control. It depends on your history and it may have to also do with stress.
2) you can wear a "pad" to bed and wear shorts lol not a thong or anything. Also wear something black or dark , this way if you leak it wont ruin anything.
nothing will make it come faster, use a tampon
Jut where a pad to bed it will help and i was supposed to get mine on June 6 and got it on the 21st!
1. Nope you cant stop menstruation once it is there.
2. before you go to sleep you must have to change your pad before going to sleep and you must wear a fitted or leggins to avoid moving of your napkin.
well no, there isn't anything to make it come faster, but you could put a double pad on or buy the heavy nighttime pads and try to sleep on your side with one leg over the other bc if you tend to sleep on your back , you will leak. Good Luck
There is no way to make your period come faster unless you are on the "pill" and then you regulate it to come every 28 days like clockwork. I am a heavy bleeder, too. I usually will wear the overnight pad...I call it my mattress...and I sometimes will wad up toilet paper to resemble a "padlike" structure and place that on top of the pad. This seems to absorb the excess and I don't leak. Also I always wear black underwear that fit somewhat snug to keep my pad in place. Hope this helps.
Unfortunatly your period is going to come when it is ready, there isn't anything to do about that. About the leaking issue, try using a tampon and nighttime pad. If you can, try and get up in the middle of the night and change out your tampon and pad. I hope this was helpful.
I know that if you're on birthcontrol you can "skip" periods by taking active pills but since you're not sexually active, you probably aren't on that.
I don't know of ways to make it come faster.
As for the leaking, i would suggest an over night pad. If it doesn't completely cover the back, put a pantyliner across the back of your panties. That may to the trick. Also, you could try wearing pantyhose/spandex under your pj's. That can help keep your pad in place to avoid spillage. Otherwise, I'd suggest Plaxtex slimfit tampons. As long as you change the tampon before 8 hours is up, you should be fine. You can sleep with tampons in as long as you change them when needed. It won't hurt anything. It's just like using it during the day! Try a tampon and a pantyliner! You'll have a little extra back up!
If you have painful periods that are irregular i'd recommend talking to your doctor about birth control. It can really help regulate you so you know when it is going to come and the painful cramps.
It will also help slow your flow so youll have less chance of leakage.
hope this helps
you cant make it come any faster, but you can try to put it off until you come home from your friends house. it might sound a little odd if you arent a strong believer, but try praying every time you think of it that it wont come until you get home. this usually works for me.
as for keeping it in your pad and not on the sheets or something, use a extra heavy, extra large, nighttime pad. if you tend to lay on your back a lot, move it back a ways so that any backwards leaks will be caught by it. wear thick underwear as another attempt to stop it from getting through. also, wear thick, dark pants to keep it from hitting the sheets, and from being visible if it does leak through to there. if its REALLY heavy, wear 2 pairs of underwear, and a panty liner in between.
hope this helps! :)
nope theres nothing i know of that will mke it come faster but i do know that if you stress about it you will make it come slower. and as for the leaking.i put on 2 at night (like back to back) and wear pants that arent like really really thin. i really hope i helped!
1.no there isn't
2.maybe wear a bigger pad and wear dark clothes when you go to bed
1) i would not rush your period, its a natural thing
2) i dont trust tampons overnight, because of tss and everything, but always have special pads for overnight and they absorb alotttttt so i would definitly try those.
