What does breakthrough bleeding usuall indicate?

I have not missed any pills, have been on the pill for over a year now, and I am now just experiencing breakthrough bleeding. Does this mean I'm not getting enough estrogen? (I'm also afraid it could be cancer, and I'm 100% sure I'm not pregnant)

My first period?

Answers:
no, a lot of women experience breakthrough bleeding when on the pill. it happens to me every now and then.

I'm 31 - could i own ovarian cancer?

Go check with your doctor to be sure nothing is wrong. I wouldn't want to say anything and there be something wrong with you, if I would say it'd be normal.
