Irregular spotting/bleeding between period.. Should I be worried?

I've been on the pill for a few years immediately and usually my cycle is very regular. I own had spotting between period before, but this is heavier and have lasted almost 2-3 weeks. I plan on making an appointment, but should I be worried or is this somewhat everyday? Any info or feedback would be appreciated!

Answers:    I wouldn't be worried too much, but definitely have a word to your ob doctor.

Irregular bleeding happens for lots reasons (pregnancy, benign cysts, beginning of menopause, stress), but in my experience, it is basically a harmless annoyance. I actually go on the pill only a few months ago because I regularly bleed even when past its sell-by date my period (this have been ongoing for plentiful years). My doctor diagnosed it as a hormonal imbalance cause by stress. I started the pill five months ago and finally started having typical periods. The pill is lately hormonal regulation of your cycle, and one possibility is that your hormone balance may enjoy changed over the years and you may have to obtain a different prescription.
It's nothing to verbs about, lately annoying. You may need to switch your pill to something different
