When you're taking out the source of hormones, you're sending your body into hormone flux...so its causing your nausea.
Try taking vitamin B12 2-3 times a day. It is a proven treatment for nausea (given in B12 injections to pregnant women to treat morning sickness).
I don't use birth control, but I've experienced nausea before and during my period before.
i've never heard of that before... maybe you should talk to your doctor.
i never get nausea with my period, maybe your body is reacting to putting something inside it for such a long time and then taking it out. i sometims get nausea if i leave tampons in for too long a couple times in a row.
hope u feel better. :)
I used to all the time I had the worst period ever and then I got on the pill and I have not had any problems. I would talk to your gyno and discuss alternatives for contraceptives.
hmm, i used to all the time. i too am on the nuvaring, i have been for about 9 months and these have been the best periods ever - no nausea. its probably just a normal PMS thing that popped up, but if it happens again next month id suggest seeing a doc. it could even have to do with the nuva
Yes!! I throw up, get cravings for hig fat foods and carbs...especially chocolate. Get hot flashes, get very very irritable, cry, wanna be alone, then when I'm alone I want company. LOL It's soooooooooo weird. I feel for ya. I think it runs in families too. My sister, mama, and niece are the exact same way. Good luck!

Yeah, sometimes I do. Usually the day before I get it. I've never thrown up before, but definitely felt like I was going to.
