Can I get pregnant?

Question:
About 4 years ago I had a DnC. The doc removed some tissue. Then about 6 months ago I had a colposcopy and they removed a spot on my ovary. The last two periods that I had were really light and I had brownish and red stuff come out. Could I be pregnant? My female organs have cramped alot in the past couple of months. If I am not pregnant can I still get pregnant after having a colposcopy and what are my chances. I have always had missed periods. I am not sure what is going on with my body. Can someone help me please.

Answers:
yes! for extra help see gynecologist!

just to see what's going on down there.
Colpo shouldn't affect you getting pregnant, though what he removed from the ovary could, depending on what it is. Make an appt with your doctor, and do a pregnancy test first thing in the morning.
may have anal
It's always possible. Best way to find out, wait until you are at least a week or two overdue and take a pregnancy test.
the best thing is to see your GP
A colposcopy bears no threat. If you had laproscopic surgery, it may have a slight effect on your ability to conceive depending on the severity of your condition. If you are experiencing abnormal cramping, go to a gynecological specialist to get a more thorough examination. You may have a different condition like endometriosis or something similar.
This may be a sign of pregnancy. I had my left fallopian removed and I still have a 50% chance of getting pregnant. I would recommend going to the doc and see what they say. Hope all is well and good luck!
yes it is still possible, but u might not be as fertile,
just to make sure go see a gyno
Take a Home Pregnancy Test!! Yes! You definitely should be able to get pregnant, and you might be right now. The brownish blood is old blood. New blood is bright red. No big deal. Now run up to the drug store! I hope you get the result you want. Good luck! :)
a colposcopy does not affect your chances at getting pregnant what-so-ever, when they took the sample from your ovary though the procedure turned into a biopsy. With that you may want to schedule another appointment with your gynocolgist for a follow-up appointment to make sure that everything is ok. You may even be able to request a pregnancy test, but the big thing is to make sure that they didn't mess something up in there.
my Aunt had 3 DnC over the last couple years and her right overy removed. 1 month after her last procedure she got pregnant. so it could be possible. if you are worried about currently being preg, take a test. there are many accurat test out there. i used one a cheap 6 $ one and it registared my preggnancy 14 days after i got preg.
You should definitely ask your Gyn all these questions but I had a colposcopy done and that should not prevent you from getting pregnant. I had it done to make sure the spots they found were not cancerous. Usually after that you get rust color discharge which is left over blood from the scraping. Anytime you have these procedures done, at least for me my body get weird and then goes right back to normal.

If you have had your period and have had no signs or symptoms and you haven't had sexual intercourse less than a week before or after your period that than chances of pregnancy are slim to none. I've had that brownish red stuff at the end of mine too without having all the things you do, could be the way your period is. Take a pregnancy test from the drug store if your still worried about being pregnant and see an OBGYN or Gynecologist and a fertility specialist. Muscle cramps could be just a symptom of PMS. I get Canker sores and a a little too emotional, that's when I know I'm getting mine soon. Missed periods could also be that your stressed out from the surgery and stress on your reproductive cycle and your ovaries.
Colposcopy is usually a procedure that is done as a follow-up because of an abnormal pap smear. Was the results of your colposcopy normal? Was the spot removed from your ovary or your cervix? Usually colposcopy is an exam only of the cervix for dysplasia. You can still get pregnant after a colposcopy. You need to see your doctor and voice your concerns. Write down all your questions on a piece of paper to ask your ob/gyn before you go to your appointment. They can also run a pregnancy test on you while you wait. Also, if you haven't received the results from your colposcopy be sure to ask for them! Good luck.
