How do you releive pain from working out?

Question:
How do you releive pain from working out?
I went a little overboard yesterday on the inner thigh machine, and now the insides of my thighs hurt like hell. What can I do to stop/lessen the pain

Answers:
Advil will help. Drink lots of water and intake some potasium (i.e. bananas) if working out is a constant thing and soreness happens often or even once in awhile, its a good idea to supplement with some BCAA's+glutamine. Oh yeah and stretch before and after a work out.
Do you have some ibuprofen? If so, take some of that, but if not, then get some Advil pain relief medicine.
Over the counter ibuprofen is 200mg a prescription amount is 800mg..so you can feasibly take 4 ibuprofen 3 times daily for 3 day for acute pain, also soaking in a nice hot bath wouldn't hurt either...Good Luck!
