Why all of a sudden is my period irregular is it a sign of infertility?

Question:
ive never been irreguler with my period and i usually get cramps and i didnt get cramps when i had my irregular period and it lasted for 2 weeks and wasnt light

Answers:
Fibroids and polyps can cause irregularity in periods, as well as cramping. You may want to check with your gyn, he/she might order an ultrasound to see if there is anything going on.

It's not normally a sign of infertility. I have a history of fibroids and polyps of the uterus, both of which had been removed a few times. I had such irregular periods because of them, and abnormal bleeding/spotting. Sometimes the growths can interfere with fertility, depending on their location and/or size, and in that case, they would be removed.

I do have two children, so I can assure you once again that it's not a sign of infertility. :)
Could it have been a miscarriage?
Have you started or stopped taking birth control? I would suggest you see your Doctor, I would say endometriois or fibroid or cyst on your ovaries but that usually comes with a lot of pain
Many things can affect your cycle. Stress, sickness, hormonal changes, etc.
It is not a sign of infertility. Your cycle will likely return to normal in time, but the more you stress about it, the worse it can be.
If it doesn't become regular again after 2-3 months, see your doctor to rule out any problems. If you are experiencing a lot of pain, however, you should see a doctor soon.

Good luck to you!
