Period on vacation?!?

Question:

ok, so i have only had 1 period so far and so my next one is expected on Monday. Except, I am going on vacation to my beach house on Monday. I know it is going to probably be a little off, cuz i have only had it for a little while, but i am going to be self conscious the whole week worrying that it will come-- and i wont be able to wear a pantiliner all week cuz i'll be in my bathing suit. HELP?!?! ADVICE!?!?

Answers:
As long as you arent in the water, you can wear a pantiliner in your suit. If you are in the water, it is doubtful anyone will notice if you do start. If you do start, you can try using tampons.

DO NOT wear a tampon in anticipation of it starting. Wearing a tampon when you are not having your period is dangerous because of the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome.

Also, very few girls have a regular period to start with - you may not have another one for months.

I would suggest wearing a tampon

you wont get your period while you are in the water, so wear it when you arent swimming. it will stop while you are in the water, but you will need the liner when you get out. try using a tampon, or if you are worried about that take some birth control.

while your waiting for it to come, you can wear a panty liner when your not in the water and when you are you dont have to wear ne thing because when you are swimming or in the shower you usually dont bleed. when you do start, if you are still on vaca, you can just wear a tampon/panty liner/pad depending on what you are doing.

calm down! it's ok! this is ur first period, uv already had it. if ur going on vacation and i serious,DO NOT GET IN THE POOL IF UR ON UR CYCLE!!! the chlorine might cause u 2 have an infection. plus, who wants to swim in bloody water? so, if u start, make sure u have pads,tampons, or whatever. just don't get in the pool! i mean it! u WILL regret it!
