Period??

Question:
when im pmsing i get really depressed and am in this mood for about a week before my period and during it.
i cry basically every day because im a downer about everything.
if someone says one nice thing to me, i cry as well.
i always "dont feel good."
not physically (though i do get bad cramps and fatigue, thats not what im complaining about right now) but mentally i guess? thats the only way of putting it. i dont feel good. im SO super emotional about everything and its exhausting to tell you the truth.
i always end up telling myself that everyone hates me and my boyfriend doesnt love me anymore and im fat and im not pretty and it just gets bad.
is all this normal?
does it happen to anyone else?
is there anything I can do to help it without seeing a doctor?
any other suggestions?

thank you so much.

Answers:
Alot of girls do that too its a hormone thing you might check with your doctor or try changing your diet exercise more there are meds you can take try midol that may do it or stronger ones from your doctor might be needed sometimes it is a chemical imbalance. I hope it works out for you but remember your not alone it is a perfectly normal thing that happens.
Yes, this happens to me also. I cant even go up the stairs without feeling light headed and dizzy! I can't stand when my mom nags at me and I feel like crawling into a hole and crying my eyes out. My head and neck hurts, too. I get all this for a couple days before my period and during. This is all normal and you don't have to see a doctor, but if you feel TERRIBLE, then i would and she'll give you medication or something.
Don't worry, it is pretty normal, most girls get these kinda negative feelings when PMSing. Some months I get completely OTT emotional and cry for the silliest reasons and some months I become an ANGRY monster! It is horrible, really horrible but when that time has passed, I feel alot better, much calmer. Don't worry, you are not alone!!
sounds like me. i talked to a doctor about it and she told me i have what they called Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). also known as a severe form of PMS. she gave me Yaz. its birth control that also helps with the effects of periods. i can't tell u how it works because i just started it today. go talk to your doctor though that would be best and remember it happens to every woman just varies on how bad. good luck
Well i read that taking shower just a little colder then you prefer will help deal with emotions, and try to relax and watch some funny videos or something, take a good walk in the park. And for Cramps, getting plenty of sunshine will get more vitamin D which will help you absorb calcium better which helps relieve pains. Also a lack of magnesium has been linked to cramps. Avoid caffeine, drink lots of water, avoid beef, lamb and pork. Eat carrots for magnesium.

Here's a great movie to watch during pms:

the period has to get every girl in a different, but sadly bad mood hun.
for me, i get angry, nervous, don't go out of the house, intolerant, sometimes depressed.....these are the effects of hormones hun....it's natural to happen, don't worry but just try to have control over your behaviour...calm down a litlle and watch your over- reactions.
Yes, this happens to others and for some, it is normal. I'd recommend seeing a doctor.
