Girls please help!?

Just wear your bikini with a pad and tie a cover-up bikini skirt over the bottom to hide the "pad bulk". Then you can just wade around or dip your legs in the water and say you don't feel like messing up your hair while swimming or that you don't feel good. If they'll force you to go in then just lay out and tan (wear sunscreen though!). Hahah, tell them you're working on your tan!
If your tampons leak a lot you may feel comfortable trying a DivaCup, Instead Cup, Keeper, or MoonCup. They are little menstrual cups worn similar to a tampon but without the chemicals (tampons have dioxin/rayon/bleach), better for the environment (they last 10 years), and easier on the money (36 bucks for 10 years of protection VS 10 dollars a MONTH per tampon box).
They can be worn for up to 12 hours and they have a suction protection seal so there are NO leaks AT ALL!
use the tampon and change it more often than before when it leaked
your tampon leaked probably because you didnt get a high enough absorbancy, and im sure if you say you dont want to go in, they will understand
ummmm just say that u dont feel good!
Wear shorts over your swim bottoms, and wear a tampon. Check on yourself regularly and you'll be fine. Also, usually if you in the water long enough.. meaning your lower half is submerged under water. your period stops.
Tell your mom if you don't feel comfortable wearing a tampon and then your mom will understand why you don't want to get in. And if the tampon leaked you should use another one with a higher absorbancy and make sure that it is inserted right.
u can still use the tampon. if ur period is heavy then u need to change it more often. no need to let that spoil ur fun.
Try another Tampon, but use one before you go so that way u can practice with it, u just need to get familiar with a tampon. and know when u need to change it, that's all but try doing it ahead of time.
First off- you need to find the right size tampon and change it more often if you were having trouble with leaking. Second- just tell your mom what's going on. She will understand if you can't do something, and hopefully she will get people off your back if they're asking you why. I know it's embarrassing, so just tell your mom that and ask her to make excuses for you.
you don't need to worry about it leaking in the water...you never can tell. there are people i know that go in without one...but if it is heavier you should use one...otherwise, you gotta tell you family that you just aren't feeling that well today or make up simple excuses. if they say you are ruining all the fun well say "that is life. and you will just have to get over it." you just need to make a big joke about it. those are your onlu options
The tampon leaked because you did not have it in all the way. Sometimes you need to use your index finger to help get it in deeper. If you don't want to try the tampon thing again, then tell your parents, family whoever that its that time of month and your going to just sit out. They will understand its a natural thing that all woman have encountered in there life.
First of all you have to change your tampon so it won't leak. I change mine every time I go to the bathroom, or every couple of hours depending on how heavy my flow is. Change it right before yo go in the water and make sure it's high enough up inside you. When inserting it, put it in as far as you can until your fingers touch, then push up the outside, then pull the cardboard out. You should not be able to feel it when it's inside you, if you can it's not in right. Either us regular or super absorbency before you go in the water and change when you're done. You can do it and you will have more fun if you wear one.
0k this happened to me one time but look u dont have to be embarressed! just tell ur mom or dad that ur on ur period and then she will understand and tell the other family another thing so u wont be soooo embarressed.
Talk to, send a note to,or text message your mom and tell her. Wear a good tampon and change it frequently. Just because it leaked last time doesn't mean it will this time! Never let your period get in the way of your life! Carry a little bag or pencil case with pads and tampons, and for extra protection, panty liners. Although you cant wear them in the water, they are great for wearing with a tampon (they are meant for discharge so you couldn't wear only a panty liner) and if the tampon does leak, the panty liner is there. Carry them around with you so you are always prepared, keepmaking sure the tampon string isn't sticking out the side of your bikini/bathing suit! Hope this helps xo
P.S. You could wear light (cotton) shorts or a (cotton) mini skirt and just say you felt like wearing it. Be warned you might not be able to wear it down the slides.
You have only two options:
#1- Buy a tampon with a higher absorbency (like Super or Super Plus)
#2- Change your tampon more often (every two hours) especially if you are going to be swimming because chlorine gets in your tampon which could cause infection. Remove your tampon immediately after you get out of the water.
