Why do I go dry during sex?

Question:
I'm really confused as to why this happens. One minute I can be totally horny and wet, enjoying a good sex session...in the 10 seconds it takes to switch position, I get really dry and have to use a lubricant. Why is this? I'm still horny so is it exposure to air or what? Is this normal?

Answers:
Yes, it is due to exposure to air. Whenever your partner pulls out and penetrates again--and men like doing this--it pushes air into your vagina, thus causing it to go dry. And as you said, it can also happen when you are changing positions. It's perfectly normal, no reflection on you. Keep that lube nearby, because dry sex not only hurts, it can cause small tears in the vagina thus leaving you prone to irritation and infection.

Condoms can also cause dryness. Just a little FYI. That doesn't mean stop using them, just use water-based lube like Astroglide or KY Jelly.

Have fun and be safe!
yes its completely normal, dont worry
your too horny
See your doctor- definitely not us.
Try a bottle of Gatorade (Passionfruit)
dont worry thats normal
if youre on the pill it can dry you up apparently, so my lass said..
The natural lubrication comes from your Bartholomews Glands and while you have enough lubrication at the start of imtimacy you tend to get dry as you progress. nothing wrong with that it is perfectly normal one of the little foibles of being an individual.

I would sugest that you use either KY jelly or the Durex lubricant to suppliment your own natural lubricant and enjoy your love making.
i only get that problem when i have been driking, other wise i dont know
that's normal....many girls are like this. find a good lube that you enjoy.
i like hydrasmooth. it's kind of hard to find, mainly only in adult novelty shores. good ole KY works great.
