tell her to drink milk or eat lots of milk based foods, it sounds like shes developed a nice ulcer :( or even possibly cirrosis of the liver
taken from webmd
"Cirrhosis can have many causes. Some of the main ones include:
Long-term, heavy use of alcohol. This is the most common cause of cirrhosis in the United States. Alcoholic cirrhosis can develop after 10 or more years of heavy drinking (5 or more dri'nks a day for a man or 3 or more drinks a day for a woman).
that sounds like a bad ulcer... she really needs to get to the dr .
She needs to go to a hospital immediately; she's in very serious trouble, medically. If she wants to live, she has got to seek help! Do you have a minister that you can ask to come see her, talk to her & pray for her?
it actually sounds like she has liver damage are the whites of her eyes yellow? it could also be pancreatitis ( inflammation of the pancreas) they are both potentially fatal she needs to go to the hospital so they can take care of her, good luck talking her into it. i wish you the best
First off, your AUNTIE is an ALCOHOLIC pure and simple and needs to kick the habit or die . she could have ANY number of things wrong with her, an ulcer, colitius, bad appendix, any kind of gastrointestinal infection, and even LIVER DAMAGE. (from the drinking). get her to a doctor, get her dried out and get her OFF THE BOOZE...Life is too good to waste it with your head in a bottle of hootch...
It could be an ulcer, her kidney, or even her liver. I'm not a doctor though, I would definitely take her to the ER right away if it hurts that bad! Good luck to you, and your family!
I had to go to the doctor not to long ago about pain in my stomach. They told me that I have an ulcer and that it was due to hot, spicy food. I think alcohol can be a factor too. I know every time I eat hot food my stomach hurts like hell. Tell her to lay off the liquor for a while and get checked out by the doctor. I know what kind of pain she is in and it's only gonna get worse if she doesn't see a doctor. Tell her in the mean time maybe to try something like pepcid.
