Yea i think you should buy them if you want. As for the marriage story... you should probably talk to her about that.
yes, i didnt use them for awhile, pads are so gross, if she finds out and gets mad tell her that pads leave an odor, you feel like your wearing a diaper, they are messy, tampons are cleaner less messy, no odor! tampons are so much better...it has nothing to do with sex or marriage.
and what planet did you say your mom is from,,,,man, some of the stuff parents tell their kids...go buy them if you want to use them!....its just a hygene product. no different than tissue paper or anything else for that matter...
Your mom is probably saying this because where it includes insertion. I used Pads for the first two years, but then I got tampons. I like them a lot better because pads leave a really nasty odor, you have to put them in the garbage can, where people can see them, and they are so uncomfortable! It's also easier to leak.
Tampons are a lot better, and I think that you should talk to her about all these, and if she still disagrees, then just go out and buy them.
