I agree exercise and some diet is the only way. Start running/jogging/or walk every day you can, If you can afford it get a membership at a local gym it's a nice get away and it will make you feel better about yourself. Sometimes it's harder for some women but if you stick with it and work it off you will get back down to where you want to be. Congrats on your twins running around with them will work some off of you too! Good luck to you and I hope you get it worked off. Just remember no matter how big you are now or what other people say your still beautiful and you still have those two babies to show for your tummy! Take care!

I know this is obvious but the only way to get rid of belly fat is to work it off. Get on the treadmill or crosstrainer for a minimum of 30 minutes. Make it just hard enough that you are burnt out right at the 30 minute time point. Also, strength training actually helps burn fat better than cardio. You wont burn as much fat in the gym but the added muscle mass burns more calories during your normal activity, so you'll actually be burning fat while you are not in the gym. Try not to eat just before going to the gym, wait a few hours, that way your blood sugar will be low enough to force your body into burning fat. Given the choice, fat is the last energy source that your body will use.
Also, alcohol converts to acetate in your body. Acetate is an EXCELLENT energy source. So your body will burn off the alcohol and ignore the sugar and fat. So lay off the alcohol until that tummy goes away.
