GIRLS ONLY.....Help!?

Question:
ok im going in sept. to get a papsmear its my first time.will it hurt?? im scared and dont wanna do it.

Answers:
I was very nervous the first time (even shaking) and it was not anywhere nearly as bad as I thought it was. The uncomfortable part only lasts literally a second. When you come out you'll wonder what you got so worried about in the first place.

think positive!
It wont hurt! Just uncomfortable for a second
I just got it last week after a year and a half of freaking out and escaping from doing it. And believe me when my OBGY did it I didn't even know that she started. I guarantee you will not feel anything Anything period.
It is not painful just a bit uncomfortable.
Trust me I had my first pap smear when I was 13, it doesn't hurt a bit. :) The doctor should tell you to relax and if you do relax your muscles you won't feel a thing!

Lol when they did it to me they were just like "Ok we're done" and I was like ". . . That's it?"
I KNOW IT IS VERY NERVE RACKING THE FIRST TIME. BUT JUST RELAX. I KNOW YOU MAY FEEL A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE HAVING SOMEONE LOOK AT YOU DOWN THERE. BUT AS FAR AS PAIN GOES, IT REALLY ISNT PAINFUL, JUST A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE. YOU CAN FEEL A SLIGHT SCRAPE LIKE FEELING, AND KIND OF LIKE A CRAMPY SENSATION. BUT THE WHOLE PROCEDURE ONLY LASTS ABOUT 6 SECONDS. JUST TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND IT WILL BE OVER. : )
try not to think about and relax as much as possible. if you tense up then it will hurt. just try to focus on something happy and positive and it will be over before you know it!
