Do women who live in the same house get there period around the same time?

Question:
I read in a magizine somewhere that said women who live in the same house get their period the same time as the women who live with them.It has something to do with hormones. Is this true?

Answers:
yes, thats very true. you can even get syncronized periods with your friends, you just have to spend a lot of time with a certain person and you will have it near the same times. my best friend started hers for the first time and then i had mine just a week later for the first time! and i always syncronize with my mom. its all about the hormones. crazy, huh?
yes, it's true. It actually has to do with the sense of smell. Weird, I know!

It is very true, but even really close friends at work are the same way.
NOT true. It never happened with my mom and I when I used to live with my parents.
once all the women in the house have their periods
when they are around each other alot
their weeks will sometimes be the same

its true, and wierd
Yes, it's true. It has to do with smell and whenever we pick up each other's body signals to ovulate, then we all ovulate. And if we all ovulate together than, of course, we all get our periods together.
