Google it. It is when once a month you bleed out of your vagina.
ask a mama,or someone else's.sowwwy.
I suggest asking a parent, because it is to much to explain. It's where the walls of your womb swell with blood to feed an egg that is released once a month. Once the womb realises that the egg is not fertalised, the walls burst (causing crams sometimes) and a fine trickly of blood exits through your vagina.
a period is something that every female goes through starting from age 9 to whenever.I was told that it was a sign that let you know that your body is maturing and it's a good thing b/c they also said that it was something that cleans you body out from old cells and bacteria that could harm us in the long run,so if you start be careful and keep your legs on lock b/c other all is done and you have started to ovulate it make it easier to get pregnant. hope o help some
