Will it hurt when i take out my tampon?

Question:
i finally got my tampon in today. at dance i leaked really badly & that gave me some motivation to try it again so it wont happen again tomorrow. it kinda felt uncomfortable & im kinda nervous about taking it out. will it hurt & be as uncomfortable as putting it in? more or less?

thanks

Answers:
The tampon should NOT hurt when you pull it out. If you can get yourself relaxed, it will hurt less that way. It may sound funny, but it's a good idea to watch TV or listen to a favorite CD the first time you remove or insert a tampon and wait to do it until you feel fully relaxed. Don't tense up - it makes it more painful!!

However, my recommendation for you would be to try a mooncup! I just tried it just this year and I LOVE IT! You only have to buy one every ten years so you save a TON of money on tampons and pads. There is NO danger of TSS or any other negative symptoms from the use of it. it is good for the environment. And best of all, you don't have to carry tampons or pads with you! It may take a little getting used to but it doesn't hurt at all!
its excruciating, dont take it out, ever
It wont hurt, just pull it out slowly
If your not relaxed then yes try and relax bfore
it's very uncomfortable for me,,, i don't like them at all... they have always hurt my insides,,, use a pad,,, much less problems.
you can use the other kind there pads im not a girl so i have no idea sorry
it shouldnt unless it hasnt had time to become moist
It shouldn't hurt at all. You're probably not doing it right. Read the instructions, and make sure to wear a thin liner when you are at dance, just in case it leaks.
just put it in and pull it out slowly and dont listen to that idiot who told u to never take it out u have to because it will get full
It will be fine. Just change it every 4 to 6 hours. Do NOT leave it in longer than 6-8 hours, it can give you TSS which can be deadly. If you change it too often and it's still dry when you remove it then it can be uncomfortable. I would just say every 4 to 6 hours and you should be fine. Be gentle and pull it out slowly. If it still hurts a little, try a smaller tampon. Good luck!
First of all, it should not have felt uncomfortable. The next time you put one in, try putting it in further. If you put it in far enough you wont feel it at all. But don't worry you'll get the hang of it. Now to answer your question. No, it shouldn't hurt to pull it out. The only time it's uncomfortable pulling it out is when it is not full. Then is can be a little uncomfortable. But dont get discouraged. Like I said, You'll get the hang of it. We all went through this when we started using them. Good luck
no it should not. the first time i took mine out i wasnt relaxed and it hurt a lil. just make sure you are relaxed. find a comfortable position and slowly pull it out. if you cant get it out it may be becuz its dry. so if you are at home you can take a bath. this will help the tampon get wet which will make the removal easier. after the bath it shouldnt hurt to take out. if it leaked you might want to get a bigger size. if you dont want to then try putting a thin pad on too. good luck =]
If it hurts then either your not doing it right or your not using the right ones...if it is heavy flow make sure you use the bigger ones so it doesnt leak and use a liner just in case and when it is light and your using a one for a heavyer flow then yes it will hurt when you take it out...just make sure you get the right ones.
if it's dry it will hurt like heck, but if it's saturated it won't hurt at all.

I don't know if you meant you leaked with a pad or leaked with a tampon but a common reason for leaking with a tampon is not putting it in far enough.
