Horrible pms symptoms?

Question:
i dont know why, but my mood swings are just terrible when im expecting my period. i feel weepy and bitchy and im pretty sure it has to do with a hormone imbalance i was diagnosed with. What can i do to get rid of this? i mean, its just making me feel terrible!

Answers:
Have you ever thought of gettin of birth control pills?? They can help regulate you and decrease your cramps and lighten your periods. It can also help deliver a steady stream of hormones to help with mood swings. Good luck!
i'm sorry :( I don't have a good answer, but I feel for you!
your symptoms aren't necessarily out of the ordinary..but there are certain types of disorders that have to do with pms symptoms being unbearably severe.

they can be treated by a doctor, so you can talk to him or her about it. however, i don't understand why they would have already diagnosed you with a hormone imbalance and done nothing for you.
Im sorry to hear that. im not sure what you should do
every woman has mood swings, but you said something about 'with a hormone imbalance i was diagnosed with' maybe you should talk to your doctor about this.

+ something that will help cure the awful cramps are "cramp pads" and its just like wearing a pad but it heats up and all you do is stick it to your panties and when it heats it helps make the cramps go away, you can find it at any drugstore/pharmacy. its cheap too!

feel better hun!
depends on your hormone imbalance. i have hormone problems, too. im 22.

my dr. put me on birth control, and it totally rocks. ive been on the ortho evra patch on and off since i was 16, and it takes care of the bitchyness, the cramps, the moodyness, all of it.

my suggestion would be to talk to your dr. and see if there is anything you can take [if you are not opposed to any sort of medication like BCP]
Usually when i get my period, i take midol which is the best over the counter med for menstrual cramps! Believe me! It works as a magic! try it...
Also to reduce the intensity of the your muscle cramp during your period, try checking with your doctor and see if birth control pills are ideal for you, it does help regulate your hormonal balance and reduces the pain level down immensely.
Hope this helps.

PS: Just remember to avoid caffeine as caffeine increases the pain rather than help. Plain water is perfect.
