I don't know but try to use a small tampon because i heard they don't hurt as much
it could be both, depending whether or not your hymen has been torn. be sure to try it on a flowing day so you'll be 'wet' enough for it to go in as smooth as possible. i recommend using one with the plastic applicator.
no it is just kind of akward at first. Just make sure you dont leave the applicator in. My friend did that once and she wasnt very comfortable
this should answer all your questions...

It doesn't hurt. Get the ones with plastic applicators and read how to put it in. It hurts people probably because they're putting it in incorrectly.
Hymen doesn't break using a tampon, but it can be uncomfortable until you get used to it. I wouldn't wear it for a night out or to a wedding until I've had a chance to wear it around the house. You could feel very uncomfortable and miserable and not able to enjoy yourself.
A tampon shouldn't go so far in.
then again the instructions come in the box.
for me personally,
it killed.
but it was because i used one that was too big in size.
i'm only fifteen,
so if you're young like me
make sure to get the smallest type.
also,
its different for everyone
so just try it.
if it hurts you dont have to use them again
(like me, haha)
it doesn't really hurt. as much as it is just kind of weird. you feel like just really uncomfortable for the first 2 or so. It is fine though you should be ok. Just remember to relax and have plenty of privacy and time when you are putting in your first tampon. Best of wishes! i love tampons.
Actually it doesn't hurt. You may feel a little bit uncomfortable when you start putting tampons into your body because there are nerve endings at the vaginal opening. But inserting a tampon shouldn't be painful. You may just need to take a little bit of practicing, that's all.
It depends on if your hymen is intact or not. But I must warn you the first time is always some what awkward and you should try with smaller ones first.
no, it doesn't break your hymen, and they won't hurt if your using them correctly. My 12 yr old just started using them and had no problem with the first one. Then again, she had me wait on the other side of the bathroom door . . . JUST IN CASE (her words). I think that helped her alot, just knowing mom was close by.
different strokes 4 different folks . When u do decides to wear them just relax when u do it b/c being tense is going to make it hurt. If it help sit on the toilet when putting it on or have 1 leg prop up on something.Good luck.
It didn't hurt me at all. My mom did buy me different kinds and at first the ones with the plastic applicators were much easier to use and also you can get lubricant to make it more gentle. Once it's in it shouldn't hurt or be uncomfortable if you have it in right. It took me a couple times but after I figured it out I never went back to messy icky pads!
No need to worry. Tampons DO NOT break your hymen. Your hymen is a thin layer of skin that partially covers the opening to your vagina. It is almost imposable for a tampon to rip that piece of skin. The hymen olny breaks when a penis enters your vagina. Putting in a tampon could hurt if you put it in the wrong way. Make sure you fallow that instruction the tampons came with, or put it like this: It's easiest if you prop up one of your legs on a toilet or something. It depends if your tampon has a applicator or not. If it has an applicator, put the tampon at your vagina's opening and push the applicator in just so it is just inside your vagina. Now, push the tampon out of the applicator almost all the way. Using the applicator, push the tampon up your vagina until you it is comfortable, but the sting is still hanging out. Don't worry, you can't really push it up to far. Now take out the applicator. The tampon shouldn't hurt. Tampons without applicators are the same, only use your finger to push the tampon instead of the applicator. Change your tampon at least every 8 hours, no more. When you're ready to take the tampon out, just relax and pull gently on the string.Make sure that you insert the tampon towards the small of your back, and that it's up far enough. If it still hurts, try using a mirror to guide you as you put the tampon in, or put a little bit of Vaseline on the tip of the applicator.
Playtex Easy Glide is a good brand.
