Best time to stop taking the pill?

Question:
Iwant to stop taking my BC pill, not to get pregnant, but to see if I'm less moody, lose weight, more sex drive etc.. I've been on it for about 6 years. When is the best time to stop, I am on my thirs pill so I barely just started the pack, would it screw up my cycle if I did now or should I wait until I'm done this pack?

Answers:
You should complete that pack before you stop. If you stop now you Will have break through bleeding and it will throw your cycle off track. It will also throw your hormones out of whack.
Then read taking charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler it will help you track your periods, and use FAM ( fertility awareness method) as a form of non hormonal birth control.
You will learn when you are most fertile and when your not by charting you cycle and the changes your body go through naturally.

Good luck
Wait until you're done with the pack, otherwise you could have a really heavy bleeding, unpleasant hormone fluctuations, etc. I once stopped after a week and it was pretty bad.
I would wait until your done with your pack. If you just stop taking them in the middle of the cycle you may get your period again when you stop taking them. This way you will be on track with your 28 day (or whatever yours it) cycle.
