Why does the 20's age group suck so much?

Question:
Does anyone feel like your 20's were/are terrible?
the mid 20's - especially women, do you feel like this age group is terrible. I just graduated college and it's the worst! I don't know what i'm doing, where I'm going, if I should relocate, etc. does it get any better, if so when. I'm a single female, unmarried, no children. - not even sure if I want all of that. why do I feel so confused about who I am all the time?

Answers:
I am in the same situation, but I don't believe that it only happens in your 20's. I know of people that are in their 30's and 40's who are still lost and don't know where their life is headed.
Maybe try picturing your perfect life, without worrying about anything like money or education. What would it look like, what would make you happy, what would make you whole.

Counselling can be a great way to help you understand were your going in life, and can help you sort things out. I am not sure where you live but there may be a women's centre that will provide you with counselling and other help.
But don't worry you have your whole life to figure out who you are and where your going, I wish you the best of luck.
I'm in the same boat. Looks like we're having the same issues. Life is what you make it. Good luck.
nope.
yes!! they do suck!!
It is so hard to figure out what you want..to get out in the real world..college is fun but it sucks too..
and you are broke all the time!!
hopefully it will only get better..I think I will be more content when I am older and know what I want out of life
Every age group has it's pluses and minuses. Right now, you have some decisions to make that are difficult, but you also have the strength and beauty of youth. You also have freedom. You're not tied down by a lot of obligations. Enjoy those things to find out who you are and what you want.
It doesn't have to do with your age group. I'm only 19, and I'm married, pretty well settled down, in college for what I want to do (culinary school) and know what my long-term goals are (as in I know what I want to do until I retire, pretty much).

Just do what you love, life is way too short to do anything else. Figure out what you're good at and love doing and make a career out of it!

Maybe you should see a therapist or a career counselor to help you plan out what YOU want to do and how you're going to achieve that :)
it's just how you feel right now! congrats for graduating! your just fine! go join a church or something. you need to just take a step back and soak in life for a moment. go lay on the grass by a river and do nothing. learn a new language! just try to find things to be happy about. I know it will get better!
It's a transition from depending on your parents to depending on yourself. Just live everyday like it was your last and try to make something new happen for you. Good luck.
I feel you girl, The last 3 years or so i felt the same way like was going in circles, i kept wishing i was back in High school so my mom can all the decisions for me.
