Help! what will my doctor do for my irregular periods that i've had for two years?
Question:
and noooo, im not pregnant :)
Answers:
The doctor will probably ask you a bunch of questions, do a pelvic exam and a pap smear, and then put you on birth control pills. (That's what they did for me)
Hope this helps. :-)
they will do a work up and probably give you birth control, unless there is a bigger problem, i had this problem but mine lasted for years i ended up with a total hysterectomy. its the drs call let them do what they think is best
yep I agree with your friend.A common cure for irregular periods is birth control because its a hormone that controls all that stuff. another thought is that you might wanna track your period. I used to think mine was irregular but actually its just every 45 days makingit seem like it skips a month and starts on a different day everytime.
My period tends to irregular too but anything can make your period irregular like stress, diet, exercise, and hormones. The only thing that a doctor will do for irregular periods is put you on birth control because its not uncommon for periods to be irregular.
