Could an ECP have caused this?

Hey there!! Last month i took an ECP. I started my period today and i am having HORRIBLE cramps, aches, bloating, discomfort and all of the usual stuff that happens when you are on your period. Do you think that the ECP could have caused the symptoms to be really bad this time. This is the worst symptoms i have EVER had. my period is not heavy though. i have tried taking pamprin and ibuprophen but nothing is helping. And i feel hungry all of the time! HELP!
